I, for one, absolutely condemn George Bush, and his motives, and the persons
and motives of all his clique, who have seized power in defiance of the clear
will of the electorate, by blatant subornation of the Supreme Court, and who
have conspired openly to trample on the rights of the people guaranteed under
the Constitution, and to violate the laws of these United States. I hold Bush
and his entourage to be guilty of gross treason to their oaths of office, and
to the Constitution and laws of the United States of America. Their whole
enterprise has clearly pursued one single object: to subject this nation and
it's people to absolute domination by their tyranny; and to extend that tyranny
to the entire world.
Right now, the executive claims the right, and fully intends and prepares, to
make war on any and every nation they choose, without consent or consultation
of Congress, in defiance of the Constitution, and in defiance of international
law stated in multiple treaties solemnly ratified and signed by this country;
treaties which, so signed and ratified, are established with the full force and
authority of the laws of the United States.
Under the Nuremburg Principles and the United Nations Charter, planning a war
against another nation which has not directly attacked your own is a "crime
against peace", and an international crime. Under the Nuremburg Principles and
the United Nations Charter, ill treatment of prisoners is a "war crime", and an
international crime. Under the Nuremburg Principles and the United Nations
Charter, targeting or harassment of any specific racial, ethnic, or religious
communities is a "crime against humanity", and an international crime. The Bush
administration has done and is continuing to do all of these things. It has
loudly proclaimed that it is doing all of these, and that it plans and intends
to continues to do so.
The Nuremburg Principles and the United Nations Charter have been solemnly
ratified and signed by the United States of America, and thus constitute
enforceable law within the United States of America. Any and all of the above
mentioned Crimes against Peace, Crimes of War, and Crimes against Humanity are
thus criminal violations of the laws of the United States of America, as well
as international crimes. Conspiracy to contravene in any way, those
Principles or that Charter is a also criminal act under the laws of the United
States, and a crime under international law. Following orders to commit any of
these acts, or participation by officials in commission of those acts, or
aiding in any way, the commission of any of these acts, is also criminal action
under the laws of the United States of America, and under international law.
These high crimes and misdemeanors: crimes against peace, and crimes against
all of humanity, should clearly be tried by international court; as well as by
the courts of these United States. However, more important for patriots, and
more pressing for us, are the crimes this administration has committed and
conspired to commit against the people of these United States, and the treason
that this administration has committed and continues to commit against the
Constitution.
Right now, the executive claims the right, and has already, stripped
native-born Americans of their rights as citizens, entirely by administrative
fiat, declaring it's classification of individuals as "enemy combatants", a
spurious and unprecedented neologism; and declaring that individuals so
classified by unappealable administrative fiat have "no legal rights" to be
honored whatsoever.
The Bush administration has admitted openly that many of it's "rightless"
"detainees" are being routinely tortured and subjected to ill-treatment.
American citizens are right now being detained without warrant, denied any
counsel, imprisoned without trial, their locations and even the fact of their
detentions being denied by the administration officials. It is widely reported
that over 7,000 individuals have so far been "disappeared" in this manner by
the United States government - within the borders of the United States.
Right now, there are lines of refugees at the Canadian borders, seeking
political asylum, fleeing the United States. Right now, there are families all
over the United States, having to make plans for what to do "if one of us is
picked up and 'disappeared'" - families including my own.
For what he has done to my country, for what he has done to my own life, I have
no hesitation at all in condemning George W. Bush, or any of his administration.
Impeachment is long overdue, for the lot of them.
